Cape May to Liberty Island — 147 miles by sea
Fundraising Progress
of $10,000 goal
Every dollar rows us closer to Liberty Island.
Help us protect the Jersey Shore.
In August 2026, Ryan Fisher and Kyle Rumaker will row a lifeguard dory from Cape May Lighthouse to Liberty Island — 147 miles along the New Jersey coastline over six consecutive days, launching before sunrise each morning.
This isn't a race. It's a tribute to the lifeguards who protect our shores, and a fundraiser for the organizations that support them. Every stroke powers beach safety programs that protect millions of swimmers along the Jersey Shore each summer.
